Savvy Architectural Professionals are including a qualified accessibility consultant in the plan review process on all their large planning projects. We have served as a subcontractor for architectural firms to help them ensure their customers they are making every effort to design accessibility into their projects and are in compliance with not only Federal laws like the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, but also with the state building code-referenced accessibility standards, which can vary from state to state.

Through our ongoing relationship with the U.S. Architectural and Transportation Barrier Compliance Board (USATBCB or Access Board), and participation in their committees and research projects, we maintain an up to the minute knowledge of their rulemaking efforts and updates to accessibility guidelines. For nearly ten years, we have provided ongoing public comment and feedback to the Access Board, the Department of Justice, and the Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers.
